# Privacy Policy for 1Buddy

## Plain-English Summary

1Buddy is a GLP-1 calorie and medication tracking app. We collect the information you choose to enter, such as medication schedules, injection logs, calorie or meal entries, food-noise ratings, weight entries, side effects, goals, and journal notes, so the app can help you track your GLP-1 journey.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health, medication, calorie, weight, side-effect, or journal data for advertising. To measure and improve our own marketing, we may use limited device identifiers and app events, such as installs, sign-ups, trial starts, and purchases. On iOS, we only access your advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Apple handles all subscription payments. We do not see or store your credit card details. You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by using in-app tools where available or by contacting us at support@insightlabs.ai.

1Buddy is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not medical advice, a medical device, or a substitute for a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional.

## 1. Introduction / Who We Are

1Buddy is operated by Summit Intelligence Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202441229E), a private limited company incorporated in Singapore, doing business as Insight Labs ("Insight Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). Our registered office is at 152 Beach Road, #23-02 Gateway East, Singapore 189721.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use 1Buddy on iOS. It applies to users worldwide, including users in Singapore, the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), and California. By using 1Buddy, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1Buddy offers a 14-day free trial followed by an auto-renewing subscription, managed through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple processes payments directly, and we receive only subscription status and purchase-event information through our service provider, RevenueCat. We do not collect or store credit card or billing details.

1Buddy helps you track information related to GLP-1 medication use, calories, nutrition habits, weight progress, food noise, side effects, and emotional wellbeing. 1Buddy does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Information in the app is for tracking, educational, and personal organization purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medication, nutrition, dosing, or treatment decisions.

## 2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide, personalize, secure, and improve 1Buddy. Our collection falls into three categories: information you provide directly, information collected automatically through your use of the app, and information we receive from third parties.

### 2.1 Information You Provide

Account and contact details

Your name and email address, if you create an account, contact support, or use Sign in with Apple. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real email, along with an opaque Apple user identifier.

Onboarding responses

When you set up 1Buddy, we may ask for information such as:

- Your GLP-1 medication, dose schedule, injection frequency, and start date.

- Optional current weight, goal weight, and progress goals.

- Optional health or lifestyle goals, such as weight loss, PCOS management, blood sugar support, general health, or other goals.

- Preferences that help configure reminders, tracking screens, and app personalization.

Tracking entries

You may choose to log:

- Injection records, including medication, dose, injection site, date, time, and notes.

- Calorie, meal, nutrition, water, or supplement entries, where supported.

- Food-noise ratings and related notes.

- Weight entries and progress milestones.

- Side effects, symptoms, mood, energy, and journal entries.

Some of this information may qualify as health data or sensitive personal information under privacy laws. We use it only to provide and personalize 1Buddy, generate your tracking views and insights, support data export or sync features, and respond to your requests. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Support communications

If you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message and any information needed to respond.

Payment information

We do not receive your credit card number or full billing details. Apple handles payment processing. RevenueCat provides us with subscription status, entitlement status, and purchase-event information so we can unlock paid features.

### 2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use 1Buddy, we may collect:

- Device and app information, such as device type, operating system, app version, locale, and settings.

- Usage events, such as screens viewed, feature interactions, onboarding completion, trial start, purchase, restore purchase, and crash or diagnostic events.

- Approximate location derived from IP address, where collected by infrastructure or analytics providers.

- Advertising identifiers, including IDFA, only if you grant Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission.

### 2.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive:

- Subscription status and purchase events from Apple and RevenueCat.

- Authentication information from Apple, if you use Sign in with Apple.

- Health, nutrition, or weight data from Apple Health, only if you choose to connect Apple Health and grant permission.

- Marketing attribution information from advertising or attribution partners, such as Meta, AppsFlyer, or Branch, if we use those services.

## 3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

- Provide and personalize 1Buddy, including medication tracking, calorie tracking, injection reminders, food-noise trends, weight progress, side-effect logs, journal features, and charts.

- Calculate and display estimated GLP-1 medication levels, countdowns, trends, correlations, and app insights.

- Manage subscriptions, trials, entitlements, purchase restores, and access to premium features.

- Sync, back up, export, or restore your data where those features are available and enabled.

- Improve and analyze app performance, reliability, onboarding, and feature usage.

- Measure and improve our own advertising campaigns using limited device identifiers and app events.

- Respond to support requests and privacy-rights requests.

- Detect abuse, debug crashes, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

For EU and UK users, our lawful bases include contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where required. For sensitive health-related data, we rely on your explicit consent where required by law. You can withdraw consent by deleting relevant data, disconnecting optional integrations, changing device permissions, or contacting us.

## 4. How Your Information Is Shared With Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate 1Buddy, and only for the purposes described in this policy.

## 5. Health Data, Medical Data, and Apple Health

1Buddy may let you enter or import health-related information, including weight, medication use, injection timing, side effects, calories, nutrition logs, food-noise ratings, mood, and journal notes.

If you connect Apple Health, 1Buddy will request permission before reading or writing any Apple Health data. You can change Apple Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings or the Health app. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

1Buddy is not a healthcare provider, insurer, pharmacy, or medication-ordering service. We do not provide medical advice. Estimated medication-level charts and correlations are informational estimates and should not be used for dosing or treatment decisions.

## 6. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide 1Buddy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

After retention ends, data is deleted or anonymized. Backups may exist briefly for disaster recovery and are then purged on a regular schedule.

## 7. Your Rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by using in-app tools where available or by emailing support@insightlabs.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

### 7.1 GDPR Rights (EU / UK)

Under the GDPR, you may have the right to:

- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.

- Erase your data, including closing your account.

- Restrict processing in certain circumstances.

- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, such as analytics or advertising measurement.

- Receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We will respond to GDPR requests within one month, unless an extension is permitted by law.

### 7.2 CCPA / CPRA Rights (California Residents)

California residents may have the right to:

- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share.

- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.

- Correct inaccurate personal information.

- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.

- Opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.

- Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of advertising and attribution partners to measure and optimize our own marketing may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out by declining Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, turning off Tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or emailing support@insightlabs.ai.

We will respond to CCPA requests within 45 days and may extend this by another 45 days where permitted by law.

### 7.3 PDPA Rights (Singapore Residents)

Because Insight Labs is based in Singapore, your personal data is handled in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). Under the PDPA, you may request access to or correction of personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data.

Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to continue providing some features of 1Buddy. Our designated contact for PDPA matters is support@insightlabs.ai, which also serves as the contact for our Data Protection Officer.

If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the PDPA, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Singapore at https://www.pdpc.gov.sg.

Users in other jurisdictions have comparable rights where local law applies.

## 8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:

- Encryption of data in transit.

- Access controls for production systems.

- Vendor review for service providers that process personal information.

- Data minimization and limited retention.

No system is fully secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and relevant regulators where required by law. If you suspect a security issue, please email support@insightlabs.ai.

## 9. International Data Transfers

Insight Labs is based in Singapore, and some service providers operate globally. Your information may be processed in Singapore, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other countries where our providers operate.

For transfers of personal data out of the EU, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), where required.

## 10. Children's Privacy

1Buddy is intended for adults 18 years of age and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

## 11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features, service-provider changes, or legal changes. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, by email, or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of 1Buddy after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
